Registration Dates for the 2008-2009 School Year

Preregistration for Kindergarten, Preschool and Ninth Grade was scheduled in April 2008. As other registration dates and information are finalized, this summary will be updated. Check our individual school web sites and contact the school your child attends if you have further questions.

Kindergarten and Preschool	Preregistration was previously held on April 28, 2008. Please contact the school your child will attend for their fall registration schedule. Age eligibility: Students entering preschool must be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2008. Students entering kindergarten must be age 5 before September 1, 2008. Required Documentation State certified birth certificate Immunization records: Kindergarten - 5 DPT, 4 Polio, 2 MMR, 3 HEP B Preschool - 4 DPT, 3 Polio, 1 MMR, 3 HEP B Vaccinations can be updated by your physician or at South Central District Health, 117 E. Ash in Bellevue, 788-4335 (appointment needed). Proof of residency with a PHYSICAL address in Blaine County (see HERE for details). For preschool only, income verification. Bring a copy of your 2007 federal tax return. All preschool programs are tuition based, using a sliding fee schedule. The Hemingway Preschool is sponsored by the YMCA.
Elementary	August 12, 2008 - Proof of Residency Day 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00 and 5:00-7:00 PM ALL students must provide the documentation listed HERE. August 12, 2008 - New Student Registration Begins Contact the elementary school your child(ren) will attend (and also check websites) for more information on their hours, forms and procedures. Carey	August 14, 2008 - Registration for Grades 7 to 12 (1:00-8:00 PM) and Proof of Residency Day for all Grades. ALL students must provide proof of residency documents.
Wood River High School	ALL students must provide proof of residency documents at the time of registration. Required Documentation

If you are new to the Blaine County School District, you will need to provide the following documents:

1. Original State-certified birth certificate.

2. Immunization record with: 5 DPT, 4 Polio, 2 MMR, 3 HEP B. Preschool: 4 DPT, 3 Polio, 1 MMR, 3 HEP B.

Vaccinations can be updated by your physician or at South Central District Health, 117 E. Ash in Bellevue, 788-4335 (appointment needed).

3. Proof of residency with a PHYSICAL address in Blaine County:

TWO (2) CURRENT UTILITY BILLS, written proof of utility service, or lease agreement indicating utilities paid with lease; any of which include name and physical address in Blaine County;

AND one (1) of the following additional documents:

VALID IDAHO DRIVER'S LICENSE OR STATE ISSUED I.D. CARD indicating physical address in Blaine County.
A PROPERTY TAX BILL indicating physical address in Blaine County.
A CURRENT LEASE AGREEMENT indicating physical address in Blaine County.
A NOTARIZED AFFIDAVIT SIGNED AND SWORN FROM CURRENT LANDLORD OR HOMEOWNER of physical address in Blaine County.
IDAHO TAX RETURN indicating physical address in Blaine County.

4. For preschool only: Income verification - bring a copy of your 2007 federal tax return.
