School Plant Facilities Levy
Turning your vision into reality
Over the past three years our
community has assisted in setting the vision for the Blaine County
School District. Considering over 6,000 comments from community
members, parents, and district staff, committees have recommended
strategies and action plans to achieve “Ten Goals” that make up the
Blaine County School District’s Strategic Plan. This plan will guide
the district through the year 2020.
The Plant Facility Levy that
was passed by taxpayers in the fall of 2009 will help fund three
areas of the district’s Strategic Plan -- technology, safety and
security, and facilities. This allows the district to
maintain the general fund budget for students, staff, and curriculum
by targeting necessary infrastructure expenditures, and continuing
sound financial planning for the future that
provides prudent stewardship of tax dollars.
